Where have you been all my life?
This is great! Thank you.
Thank you so much Dave for the very informative and helpful tutorial! God bless and good luck!
Another Photoshop shortcut that allows you to display and hide layer is keyboard: control-key + comma-key (ctrl + “,” ).
Or Cmd + "," on Mac
wow, shockingly easy!
Thank you so much for this! I really want to get better at creating with Photoshop and saving myself some time on projects.
I've seen a lot of editors use the Generative Fill tool on their channels and the results are amazing, but what they don't say is that if you like what it did and can use it, they don't mention to use the thumbs up if the selection is what they can use, this sends info back to Adobe saying it got this right, if you don't like a selection then you can use the thumbs down. You can select either by using the options in the Generative Fill bar or by clicking the 3 dots in the Variations and choosing thumbs up or down. Maybe you can introduce this in future content regarding Generative Fill.
This is groundbreakingly valuable.
if i purge will it delete the project i am currently working on?????
just brought my first wacom pen tablet 😊
This is the first I'm hearing of this. Great lesson! I hope I can see more on your "Dave Cross workshops".
🙏🧡
Hi Dave nice to see your version too of this feature. Well how funny selections were used for remore objects and now to add subjects. But after viewing some videos, seems that cameras will be a memorabilia object in two years time. Kind of sad, anyway maybe I will step back to analog, shooting film, printing for my pleasure. A way too powerful and also kind too fake. But is my opinion.. when the next virtual summit ?
The next Photoshop Virtual Summit will be in late October/early November
Thank you. Very useful. Clearly expluned.
Been shooting for 50+ years and using Photoshop since 1998 and this is definitely by far the easiest, most definitive tutorial I've ever taken. Thank you Dave Cross! 🙂
merci tres bien
Thanks
My Wacom Intuos 3 pen acts just like a mouse. I can't get to do what you say (1:43) - it just scrolls like a mouse. Oh, well.
Thanks, very useful
Keep the mouse handy if you have an extended monitor situation.
Hi Dave, I have a question that i simply can't get an answer for. how do I set my wacom Intuos pen so that one dab of the pen on the screen (with inkscape) creates a dot? drawing is no problem but as soon as i want to create small dots , the dotting technique doesnt create any mark. Thanks in advance. Thomas
Thank you!! I needed to learn this, you saved the day!!
Make a rectangular image size object that is centered as you like it than add a smart object image which will have a clipping mask attached to the rectangle. This template now can be used again as needed. The template can be reused by placing new “Replace Contents” image clipped to the accurately centered rectangle.
I can't click with my pen so what should I do??
Very useful hints. Nicely describe. Thank
Hahahaha... Been using photoshop for 6 years now and I definitely didn't know this
Thank you! Very helpful.
STAR!
my issue is converting multiple layers into their own smart objects, is this possible? I know this video is 5 years old but i'd love to be pointed in the right direction.
I started playing Valorant with my tablet 😁
thank you. i wish i bought a tab in 2014 when u uploaded this great video
1:46 peple do that ??
CLICK ALT + SX MOUSE. end of video.
This does not address using PS on a PC; keyboard shortcuts are different. Not everyone uses an Apple. This also does not address linking a layer mask when the layer is created from another part of the same image.
